Auburn-Texas A&M Prediction

The Auburn Tigers are muddling through their season. They have been okay, but not as good as last season when they were the best team in the SEC. (Tennessee has clearly overtaken Auburn this year.) The Tigers have fallen in love with the three-point shot. They don’t relentlessly attack the post when they have a favorable matchup. Their bigs haven’t always delivered the goods. They haven’t handled high-profile road games well in recent weeks. They aren’t a team in trouble, but they are a team which needs to get going if it wants to earn a high NCAA Tournament seed and make the Sweet 16. They need to win at Texas A&M to begin to establish a positive identity. The Aggies are coming off a road win at Alabama on a running bank shot by T.J. Starks at the buzzer. Auburn will stop the Aggies’ momentum. Auburn 73, Texas A&M 68.
