Auburn-Georgia Prediction

Auburn’s road struggles in SEC play are well documented, which makes every Auburn fan aware of the Tigers’ need to start strong on Wednesday night in Athens. Georgia might not be a good team, but the Dawgs have defeated Texas at home. They almost ambushed LSU. They fell by one point to Mississippi State and were hit by a ludicrous technical foul in the final second of regulation. Georgia has shown that it can put up a good fight on its home floor. Auburn can’t get caught in the double-trap of bad shot selection and inconsistent low-post play which has dogged Bruce Pearl and his team throughout the season. Can anyone say with 100-percent confidence that Auburn will respond the right way on the road? No… but playing Georgia should help the Tigers survive this game and stay on course for the NCAA Tournament. Auburn 68, Georgia 61. (Matt Zemek)
