Arkansas-Auburn Prediction

This is a genuine two-way bubble game, but it’s not a bubble game in which the stakes are exactly the same for each team. Auburn is likely inside the bubble cut line (though not with a huge margin for error), while Arkansas is clearly on the bad side of the bubble and has a lot of work left to do. An Arkansas win would muddle the bubble picture by bringing both teams closer to the bubble cut line from opposite directions. An Auburn win would solidify the Tigers’ profile while knocking Arkansas farther down the pecking order and into NIT territory. Neither team has played well in recent weeks. Auburn’s win at Vanderbilt this past Saturday might have led to a loss against any team in the top half of the SEC. Arkansas did win at LSU, but the Razorbacks have cratered since. Auburn is in much better position to win here. Auburn 77, Arkansas 68. (Matt Zemek)
