Alabama-LSU Prediction

If you have followed Alabama basketball closely, you know that the Crimson Tide go from high Tide to low Tide – and back – very quickly. Consistency has been very elusive for this team. Having just scored an emotional victory over Kentucky this past Saturday, the smart money suggests that Alabama will run low on fuel in Baton Rouge against LSU. Is Alabama ready to evolve and display the tunnel vision Avery Johnson so badly wants to instill into his players? The Tide have a veteran lineup which bottled up Kentucky’s offense for most of the game this past weekend against the Wildcats, but that same lineup nearly coughed up a late lead with a series of panicky decisions. LSU knows it needs to hold serve at home, but this game is more of an indicator of where Bama stands, and it probably isn’t ready. LSU 78, Alabama 75. (Matt Zemek)
