Alabama-Auburn Prediction

The Auburn Tigers should be fine for the NCAA Tournament after their win over Mississippi State this past Saturday and a 2-0 week in the SEC. Auburn is playing for seeding here, not selection, though one more win would be good to tuck away, just in case. Alabama is the team closer to the bubble. The Crimson Tide need this game, especially since their win over South Carolina last week keeps looking worse. Bama was not happy the Gamecocks lost to Missouri. This is a rivalry game, and anything can happen in rivalry games. That said, Auburn has not been good on the road this season, and that is hard to shake entering this Iron Bowl of basketball. The Tigers go through too many rough stretches on offense. Bama will get the win it needs to breathe a lot more comfortably heading into the SEC Tournament. Alabama 71, Auburn 66. (Matt Zemek)
