Scouting Report
This is a game between two teams that still have a shot to make the NCAA tournament. Tennessee (15-13, 7-8) almost has to win this game to make big tourney and probably has to win out and win a couple in the SECT. Florida (18-10, 10-5) is in a lot better shape. If the Gators can win a couple more games they’ll be pretty much a lock. Florida has really improved as the season has progressed. They’ve gotten a little more accurate shooting the three and do most basketball tasks reasonably well. Tennessee has played really well at home and seems to have a knack for pulling out wins in Thompson-Boling Arena. They are the more desperate team here and do have some solid weapons in Jordan Bowden and John Fulkerson. However, where they make their money is their defense. They Vols have a suffocating defense that take opponents out of the rhythm. Tennessee should be able to pull this out but it’ll probably be a tight game.
