Missouri-Alabama Prediction

Both these teams seem improved, especially Alabama. A big part of Bama’s improvement has come via a freshman pitcher from Wisconsin, Connor Prielipp. Prielipp has allowed just five hits and no runs in 21 innings of pitching. Alabama is obviously better than the past few years but it’s a little early to put them among the top five teams in the nation. They are probably more like top 25 team. That said, the Tide should be able to win this series against Missouri. Mizzou sits near the bottom of the SEC in both hitting and ERA. Infielder Brandt Belk is a player to watch for the Tigers. He’s batting well over .400 and has a pair of home runs. Alabama should win this series 2-1 but they could get the sweep.
