Georgia-Auburn Prediction

This is another series this weekend that has important postseason ramifications, especially for Auburn. The Tigers likely need to win 3 or 4 more conference games to get a warm and fuzzy feeling about making the NCAA. Georgia is a lock at this point for an NCAA bid. However, the Dogs want a strong finish to ensure a top eight national seed which means hosting the first two weekends. Georgia has far superior pitching and fielding while Auburn has a slight edge hitting. Auburn’s Plainsman Park is one of the most difficult venues to play at in the conference. Georgia should win this series but Auburn might steal it. Georgia 2 wins, Auburn 1 win.
