Alabama-Georgia Prediction

Both Georgia and Bama enter this series needing wins. Georgia is already a lock for an NCAA bid and hosting the first weekend. However, the Bulldogs aren’t a lock for a top 8 national seed. Alabama, meanwhile, needs wins to get into the SEC Tourney. Georgia should be a heavy favorite in this one. The Bulldogs have a solid edge in pitching. The two teams are about even in hitting and fielding. Georgia might sweep but Bama has been able to eek out a win in all of its series against the SEC heavyweights except Vandy. Georgia 2 wins, Alabama 1 win.
