Kentucky baseball opened its 2019 season with blast, well four blasts, as the Wildcats downed home standing Austin Peay 8-4 on Friday afternoon at Raymond C. Hand Park in Clarksville, Tenn. Look inside for photos by 14Powers.com.

Austin Peay and Kentucky continue their three-game series with a 1 p.m., Saturday contest at Hand Park. Govs left-hander Brett Newberg will square off against Wildcats righty Jimmy Ramsey. APSU will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its new baseball clubhouse at 12:30 p.m., Saturday before the game’s start.
