Short Yardage playes
These killed us on Saturday. The ability to convert a third or fourth and one is what separates average teams from good ones. The series at the end of the third/beginning of the fourth quarter against Florida shows that in these situations we are average at best. While we can look at the lack of Benny in the backfield, the bigger issue was the lack of any sort of offensive line push on either of the plays. It is an area that cost us a win this week and one that must be cleaned up. Soon.
