Terry Wilson

Well this sucks.
Kentucky quarterback Terry Wilson will miss the remainder of the season with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, Wildcats coach Mark Stoops announced Sunday.

Wilson, a junior, suffered the injury during a horse-collar tackle in the second half of Kentucky's 38-17 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday. The injury will require surgery.
I think the most annoying part of it is that the play happened on an illegal tackle. I don't know how you discipline a player in this situation, but something should happen to the EMU lineman in question. It looked bad at the time and that is how it turned out.

Time to see what Sawyer Smith can do.

What a crying shame. A terrible loss for UK.

Agreed. I am looking forward to seeing what Saywer can do but it just felt like TW was ramping up for a big season this fall. I still think seven wins is possible, but the margin for error in big games disappears completely.
