Scott can only do two things at the plate. Fly ball or strike out. Jones can only do two things, strike out or fly ball. So with a runner at third and one out, what do we get? Two strikeouts.
Last time around I told my wife that Scott would fly out and Jones and Infante would strike out. They did. This time I knew what they were going to do. Think I'd rather have had Kaiser HIT with no outs and a runner on second.

LSU is a good hitting team. Pitcher's performance so far has been outstanding.

So according to the announcers, Hickman has gotten the benefit of the doubt by the ump, but Hilliard has been a wonderful superduper stupendous future pro pitching prospect. Tell me again who won the game?

Wow. Hickman was terrific. I'd say we have a Sunday pitcher. The LSU ptcher was pretty darn good, too.

Kid looked like Greg Maddux today, the umpires strike zone didn't hurt either pitcher but still he had a really good team off stride the whole game.

What a pitching duel that was. Hickman looks to be the real deal 8 Ks today. We’re 5-1 in the SEC. Now, if we can figure out how to win a midweek game!
