Vandy already getting runs with 2 outs. 1-0 VU

1-0 Vandy going to B1. We got caught in a rundown between 3rd and home to get them out of the inning.

What was that?

Raby gives up a hit and a walk but gets out of the inning with back to back Ks.

Still Vandy 1-0 after 1. Raby gets another K and MSU leaves 1 on.

We hit into a double play to end our 3rd. Going to the B3 now still 1-0 vandyboys

I think the Grisanti leadoff experiment needs to end. He is either a walk or an out. Since the competition has amped up, he is walking a lot less, and he is hitless in 2 weeks. His average is below .200 and dropping quickly.

Raby gives up a hit in the top of the 4th but strikes two out back to back to get Vandy out of the inning. 1-0 VU B4. Need to get a couple runs.

Demarco led off with a single in the top of the 4th but we go down easily after that. 1-0 VU B4.

We've gotten ourselves in a mess here in the B4. Bases loaded and 1 out for MSU.

We get out of the bottom of the 4th unscathed. 1-0 VU going to the top of the 5th.

We get a walk from Paul in the top of the 5th but another double play ends the frame.

State gets one on in the 5th but Raby gets the job done yet again. 1-0 going to T6.

Has Vandy ever shut out an SEC opponent (the same) in back to back games?

Oh, we shut out MSU in back to back games in 2011.

The shutouts in 2011 were at the Hawk. Not sure when the last time we did that to an SEC opponent on the road.

We get one on in our 6th but get a runner gunned down stealing and come up empty yet again. 1-0 VU b6

These MSU homers are something. The replay clearly shows Infante has the ball in the glove. It isn't out of the damn. It's on the very edge of the glove. Never came out yet the homer announcers are like "what's the problem?, it's clearly out, he trapped it."
