Is it too late to enter the Transfer Portal?

Coastal Carolina has already lost some players and I wouldn’t mind if 1B/C Derek Bender found his way to Vanderbilt.
I watched Bender and his teammate, SS / leadoff hitter Jonathan Vastine, in the Cape Cod League. Perhaps “Vasty” has been talking up the ‘Dores.
Bender batted .374 in 31 regular season games with 4 HR, 7 2B, 12 BB and 15 SO. He was 18-19 in stolen bases. Yesterday, Bender blasted 2 home runs in the CCBL playoffs to help send the Bourne Braves to the championship series.
