"Momentum is on the up for sure," senior linebacker Ethan Barr said. "We are all excited that Coach Lea is going to be here, hopefully for a long time. He's always said to us that he plans to be here for the rest of his career. He loves it here. Nashville is his home. He went to Vanderbilt, obviously.

Aside: The Times-Free Press on Sunday will publish its Dandy Baker's Dozen of players from the Chattanooga area... and based on some inside intel, both of Vandy's QB commits (Jeremy St-Hilaire of McCallie and Whit Muschamp of Baylor) will be on there.

Vandy has not been ultra-successful this year with top players from the Metro area... lots of players they wanted are going elsewhere... but it has done a pretty good job with the eastern part of the state. Besides those two QBs, Vandy landed Markeis Barrett from Knoxville, and already has Baylor's Carson Lawrence for next year.*
