And no Vandy commits were selected after round 2. Great news that the bulk of the class, including Braden Holcomb and Ethan McElvain, are headed to school.

Also notable that neither Alan Espinal nor Jack Bulger (both draft-eligible) were selected.

I’m really surprised McIlvain was not drafted…he must have made it clear that he was going to VU. They love big left handlers and he was rated in the top 50 high school prospects. At any rate, I’m certainly happy we won’t lose any more of our commits than we did.

I wonder if Hliboki will return since he didn’t get drafted?

Bulger is oft criticized. His return would be huge imho..

His career seems to have plateaued. I think he has improved as a catcher, but his batting -- maybe gone the other direction a little for whatever reason.
