So far by my count Brentwood Academy QB George MacIntyre has received offers from nine SEC schools (including VU, UT, Bama and Georgia), nine ACC schools, six Big Ten schools, as well as Notre Dame, Oregon, UCLA, and Coach Prime's school. In other words, pretty much everybody knows about him and wants him. And he will only be a junior this fall.
So far Vandy has been unable to convince him to be part of one of its summer camps; he is camping at Clemson, Alabama, UT, LSU, and FIU.
FIU, you say? Makes sense only when you realize that that's where his uncle Mike MacIntyre is now. It would be quite a shocker if young George went there, but who knows? All I know is, there's not much reason to think right now that Vandy is among his top schools. But there's lots of water still to go under the bridge.
