Yes. And a prior one was a strike too.

Thought the same. I’m not sure Cunningham should’ve even faced Ryefeldt.

Re: Florida in Hoover thread
No one warming up. No mound visit when Cunningham needed to slow down. A shame - because he pitched well and could have built off it. Now the good outing is lost & a negative.

Why couldn’t Vastine have knocked one of those when we had some runners on? At this point probably too little too late.

Re: Florida in Hoover thread
And Cunningham sharp in the 8th. One fluke inning/batter killed them. And had he not been squeezed a bit, he may have gotten himself out of the jam.
Even with the top of the order due up, sure doesn’t seem like VU’s night. Too many stranded.

We are simply no match for Florida. They’re a complete team that can pitch and hit well.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Vandy and LSU exit tomorrow. Time to move on.
I hope Owen didn’t reinjure himself tonight.

Re: Florida in Hoover thread
Sadly, VU hit for contact far better last night. They just didn’t capitalize on how many scoring opportunities they created.
