Our starter is out tonight and our pitcher has not SEC start in a year: don't think odds of winning tonight on our side so save arms for 2 winnable games to follow.

They may not can hit lefties, but they sure knock the schite out of righties.

Through 7 innings, 10LOB. Zero runs.

That’s pretty pathetic.

In SEC we are 1 for 20 RISP now in past few games. That will not get us wins.

This performance will probably lead to another “unacceptable” lecture. Let’s hope we are very sharp on fundamentals tomorrow.

And that Owen is good and Florida’s troubles against lefties are real.

We were facing a guy throwing 100.

We scratched our ace - who happened to be a leftie (which is Florida’s issue)

and we, wisely, did not move up our other two pitchers and get them off schedule.

We fell behind early. You can’t really, under these circumstances, expect coach to burn arms that will matter tomorrow

Run ruled loss 0-10 and hoping for better performance tomorrow. Got to hit with RISP.

Need to hit with RISP - but our leadoff batters also have to get on. Another bad night in that regard.

And a genuinely terrible night stopping Florida’s leadoff batters from getting on base.

These run rule loses lead me to think we’ll have a tough time stringing together enough wins to get out of the four team phase of the NCAA tournament where we’ll need three wins to move on. Hope I’m wrong but while we may (still?) lead the league in batting average we seem to have large holes in when we get those hits.
