Important game. I’m watching my first game in person this year. Hope I bring us luck. Tickets were as low as $3 on stub hub. I splurged for 2 $4 tickets.

Lead off runner = run in the third. I know I am harping on it a lot lately but it really matters.
Diaz has had two very good at bats so far.

Diaz' ball was fair. It hit the ground between home and 3rd base, so at that point it's where it crosses the bag. If inside or over the base, then it's fair; the LF line beyond 3rd base is irrelevant. 3rd base umpire was perfectly positioned to make that correct call.
