Now this did not cost Florida the game, but ...
Florida's pitcher gets ejected for being excited about an out. Absolutely no reason for the ejection, the pitcher did nothing that dozens/hundreds of others had done in baseball games before. So Florida's HR king trolls the umpire perfectly.

Did you see the guy who hit the grand slam afterwards walk in from third with his hands at his sides and walking in about the most non-celebratory method possible. Wonder the ump didn't throw him out.

Earl did less to deserve that excessive celebration call than you see on the average play these days.

And yet Louisville’s Luke Smith remained in the CWS game after, among other things, giving a very, very visible FU to the incredibly unlikely Julian Infante, one of Vandy’s all-time nice guys.
