The NCAA Bowling Championship started with 17 teams. The Final Four are playing in Las Vegas for the title.
#2 Vanderbilt lost to #3 Arkansas State in the Final Four then defeated 2022 Champion and 2023 #1 seed McKendree in the Losers Bracket.
Today (Saturday) facing #4 seed Nebraska for the right to play Arkansas State in the finals.

EDIT: I looked up the format for the tournament. Apparently, Mega-Match includes:
1. a round in which each team throws 5 bowlers (scoring separately) with the totals added together.
2. a Baker System match of 5 games in which each team throws 5 bowlers in a row and then repeats the 5 bowlers (unless there is a pinch bowler). The scores of the 5 games are added.
3. a best-of-seven Baker System match using the above format except that when each game ends, one team gets credit for a Win and the scores reset at zero for the next game.
From the Live Scoring page, I see that Vanderbilt beat Nebraska in the first two contests; the best-of-seven Baker was not needed. Get some rest, Ladies!
"All regionals are double elimination except for the play-in match at the five-team regional which will be single elimination. Each round will consist of teams competing in a best-of-three match format, bowled in the following order: five-person team match; Baker total pin fall; and best-of-seven Baker match play. Regional competition will conclude with one team from each regional bracket advancing to compete in the championship. The champion will be determined using a best-of-seven Baker match play. The championship final will air at 9 p.m. Eastern time, Saturday, April 15 on ESPNU."

There's a lot to these bowling championships. Many different rounds and types of rounds. I have no clue how it works. We kicked Nebraska's tail really well, I know that.
