Wouldn't turn him down of course, but my hope is for a sharpshooting wing and a "banger/rebounding" power forward. And needless to say, by sharpshooting I mean someone who makes a high percentage of 3's, not just a guy who shoots a lot of 3's. Been there, done that.

We are unlikely to do better. If he were interested in Vanderbilt we would and should be interested in bringing him in. Dort may develop, but Dickenson is the real deal and would essentially replace Robbins offense and rebounding.

Yes ... I don't know that there is any connection to Vandy at the moment, but he would be about the best Liam replacement we could hope to find.

Here is the article from the Detroit Free Press:

It mentioned some of his antics with his podcast and pregame at Wisconsin this year. They speculate about his interest in getting a good NIL deal.
This past year he shot 42.1% from 3 point shots.

I heard from "people around town" (and elsewhere) there is a chance he could still be upset with Maryland over the previous staff pretending they didn't recruit him out of h.s. I'm not very familiar with THAT soap opera but the same people think he's been leaning to Virginia and not to sleep on Georgetown depending on who they hire to replace Ewing and them. This does not mean Maryland is out of the running because a new coach is a new coach. But he is from the Baltimore/DC area of Hyattsville MD for whatever that is worth.
