For the general undergraduate population transfer decisions for the University begin in late April. Vanderbilt being Vanderbilt, I would be surprised if anything official comes through until May. However, I hope the athletic department is working with admissions to give unofficial assurances to potential transfers regarding admission status.

One source I have not seen mentioned is Ivy League graduates. The Ivy League limits players to 4 years eligibility. No redshirt year; no covid year.
Princeton, Yale, Harvard and Penn all have some good players, although not in sufficient number to successfully compete in the SEC. Some might graduate this year and seek a graduate program. We saw what Princeton did in the NCAA's.

IDK, but I'm tired of waiting for good news. We ought to be more attractive to a transfer this year than at any other time.

We're actually in the hunt for several Ivy transfers, most of whom are grad transfers.

Whoa. Summersaults and backflips!!. Yikes and ouch. I never ever could do a backflip. If I tried either at my age there would be a serious risk of serious injury. Maybe a different phrase would work better for us older folks (old goats, old farts, whatever we can be called). However, I do look forward to having someone to look up to wearing black and gold.

MrM, please keep us updated, you seem to have a line into command central. I recognize that rumors are just that. But aren’t they the lifeblood of sites like this. The 7-footer stuff is by far the best rumor I’ve seen in some time. Thanks
