My complaint is that by the most important metrics, VU is clearly the 4th best team in the SEC.

VU tied for fourth in SEC standings

VU was the only seed below 3 to make it to the semis of the SEC Tournament.

Each of the SEC tournament teams below VU in the standings lost to VU in head to head games.

Taking these three items together, to take 8 SEC teams and not VU who is clearly the fourth best SEC Team is just so nonsensical.

And I guess I could swallow it if they took five and left VU out, but 8!?!?!

Yup.

And while I realize that, in some cases, the unbalanced schedules in leagues can make comparing teams by conference record weird ... in our case? The 3 teams in the SEC that the committee judged to be best by NCAA seeding are ALL teams we had to play twice!!
