QMB

Post by LawoftheWest »

QMB played a gutsy, hard game against KY. His 3 point shot to end the half was remarkable. He received the ball outside his comfort zone with just seconds left in the half. He looked at the clock and saw there was not enough time left to pass to a shooter. So what did he calmly do? Shoot the 3 pointer with perfect form, perfect arc. Many players in that situation would have rushed their shot, leaving it flat, with little chance of scoring.

Hats off to QMB. He played his heart out, yet remained calm and focused. I think his 3 point shot just gave us the momentum to start the second half.

I saw a glimpse of him leaving the court after making that shot. He was not smiling or smirking. He just looked determined. Got to love him for what he does, with limited skills.

Agreed! 10 pts, 6 rebounds in 20 minutes against one of the best players in college BB. Shot 100%. He had a great game. Critical to this great win.

I truly believe that was the best game of his career.

QMB is a wonderful young man with a great family. He's one of my all time favorites. Stack was funny in the post- game saying his Bigs spend a little more time practicing threes than he would prefer.

It's my understanding that he has another year of eligibility. It would be amazing to see him come back (assuming I am correct and he has more schooling to finish his grad degree)

He technically has his Covid year. PhD, perhaps?

The only player that is totally out of eligibility would be Liam I think.

Correct. This is his fifth season. ESPN only shows 3 in stats, but the VU bio shows two prior seasons - Juco, perhaps?
