Re: Recruiting: Weekend visitor list for Wake Forest
Here's a Murfreesboro Daily News Journal story (premium) about Arion Carter, the 6-1 210 ATH from Smyrna who is committed to Memphis but visiting Vanderbilt Saturday for the Wake Forest game. He wants to be a doctor.
Carter dissected the La Vergne defense to the tune of 12 carries for 123 yards and five touchdowns as the Bulldogs defeated the Wolverines 38-6 on Friday night. He also had a sack that caused a fumble.
Smyrna improved to 3-0, 1-0 in Region 6-6A...
"I'm 100% with Memphis, until I figure another team can give me the best opportunity outside of Memphis," said Carter, who was offered by the Tigers as a linebacker. "As of right now, I'm committed.
"A lot of it is about the school and being a doctor and everything about that. Wake Forest has a great program. North Carolina is the mecca of medical schools. But Memphis is up there too."
Hmm, sounds like he's not really "100% with Memphis".

If they’re looking for an early PT opportunity, the game may have encouraged them.
Also, John Oliver seems way too small to play OL.
