Re: Vandy-Hawaii highlights
Thanks. Don. That's a great package. Unfortunately, I was still looking for another Mike Wright carry to the short side where Shoenwald pancakes a defenseless CB.
Anyone see a clip?

DeefromAtlanta, that happened on Wrights 87-yard TD run. The camera angle determines whether you really see it or not. If I find it again, I'll link it.
I'm back. I found it on the VU Football Twitter feed, and it came from the SEC. Try this link:
That should work.

Re: Vandy-Hawaii highlights
Schoenwald and Will Sheppard both had tremendous blocks on the 87-yard TD run. Sheppard decleated a Warrior defender.

Re: Vandy-Hawaii highlights
Shoenwald’s block was absolutely nasty. You can hear the impact on the film audio. Obviously we can’t get too carried away with the win over Hawaii as an indicator of things to come. They were possibly the weakest team on the schedule (Elon?). However, it is nice to see the team playing hard every snap and they should definitely be praised for the intensity they brought in game 1.

Biggest hidden play in there - McGowan recovering his own fumble. If he can't get a hand on it, there's three UH defenders in the area, and I don't think anyone would have caught any of them on their way back. That would have given UH a 17-14 lead halfway through the 2nd and stalled any momentum we had built to that point. Would have been a much different game.
