A player breaks a leg during warm-ups. It has happened.
A player gets sick and throws up all day until kick-off. It has happened, twice that I know of, a starting QB and Jimmy Williams.
A long delay and possible penalty because the uniforms are ruled non-conforming and illegal? It has happened.
What else?
Lengthy delay due to rain? Not likely, The Weather Channel says it should be around 85 and sunny at kick-off.
Anti-jinx on all that can go wrong.
What can go wrong?

Re: What can go wrong?
Hawaii averages 8 yards per play running the same four or five play rotation throughout the game (as SMU did in 1990).

Vanderbilt's "get-flattened-on-every-play" defense was on the field only for the first drive last nightnyyankeeDore wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 4:52 pm Hawaii averages 8 yards per play running the same four or five play rotation throughout the game (as SMU did in 1990).
It was a good game to start the season.
