Your favorite stimulant to stay up for a midnight game?

Post by MrMemorial »

a) a nap in the afternoon
b) strong coffee ... preferably an entire pot
c) legal stimulants (5-hour energy shots, red bulls, etc)
d) illegal stimulants (cocaine, Adderall®, Dexedrine®, etc)** unless prescribed by a "doctor"
e) other

If you answered "all of the above" - seek rehab ASAP

Not sure anything can keep me up 10.30-2a
But these may help
1. napS
2. Jim Beam & coca cola
3. Close game

Some of us don't need no stinking stimulants.

A good, strong start to the game is what I need.

Not that I'm expecting it to be easy, and they are rare anyway for this program, but we haven't had a game that wasn't a cardiac stress test since 2019.

My head says to just DVR it and watching it at 8 AM tomorrow will be no different than watching it live if I just turn off my notifications before going to bed. Plus I can watch a 3 1/2 hour game in about an hour by fast forwarding through commercials, penalties and between plays.

However, I'll be so hyped I'll probably just stay up and watch live until about 4 AM with a 5 OT game.

A nap, which will be starting in the next 10 minutes, followed by a light dinner, light alcohol, and a strong start from the team.

My solution involves relocating to Pacific time, so that tonight's game starts at 7:30pm for me.
