How does Vandy get a bye on Tuesday at Hoover?

I have forgotten. Do the top two east and top two west division teams get the bye or are they the top four teams by W-L record?
It looks to me that we really need to sweep LSU and have Georgia lose to Missouri.

It won't be easy, we are close but a lot has to happen for us to get it.

Root for everybody else to lose....but half the teams will win so it will be very hard. Looks like Auburn will have to get swept and we will have to win 2, or we sweep and Auburn can win 1. But if that happens and we only win 2, we need Georgia to win 2 at most. If we win the series and don't get a bye, I will perfectly happy, but that's just me.

I think the 2 division winners are seeds 1 and 2. But seeds 3 on down are based on conference record regardless of division.

We just need to keep improving and putting complete games together. We still are not yet at our peak where pitching, hitting and fielding are all great in the same game. There remains work to do, but we are better than earlier. It would be terrific to play our way into a top 8 NCAA seed.
