NCAA Finals
Not a great look that both finals teams have been linked to some shady stuff and not much happened to them. The UNC “academic” matter that wasn’t in the NCAA’s jurisdiction and the way uglier assertions about Self and Kansas.

Re: NCAA Finals
Come on now. VU has plenty of shady past discretionary lapses.
There was Parking-gate with Lance Goulbourne.
And which two players were involved in the incident where one of the team alumni bought a meal for his friend (and maybe paid for his hotel room?) a few years later. Was Festus involved in that?

No Comparison
Ultimate, I don't see any similarity between Lance letting another student get his parking pass with Lance's money, or a single meal (and maybe hotel room) and the widespread academic fraud committed at UNC. None.
I do agree that we are not as pure as the driven snow. There have been problems in the past with the tennis team, 2 football players and their internships and the like. But again no comparison to what happened at UNC.

Re: NCAA Finals
Yeah, I thought everyone would understand the sarcasm in your comment but I stand corrected as well. If only you would have mentioned the Jay Cutler terrorizing the campus phones then we would have to something to talk about.

Re: NCAA Finals
Wasn't there some scandal about the Athletic Dept. accepting money to change our logo?

Sorry for my 'density" Ultimate, using a great word out of context from Back to the Future. I completely missed it and that's on me.

Did you notice that Kentucky …
(which also has a shady coach) … handed both of those teams their worst loss of the season?
Dec. 18 in Las Vegas: UK 98 / UNC 69
Jan. 29 @ Lawrence: UK 80 / KU 62
Vanderbilt only lost its 3 games to UK by a combined 25 points. Less than the UK margin over North Carolina.
Edit: Jason corrected me. I forgot about the SEC Tournament game.

Re: Did you notice that Kentucky …
I thought we played them three times this year. But we came close the last two times.
