ESPN (Premium): How Northern Illinois turned things around in 2021

Post by BrentVU »

Vandy has a road game at Northern Illinois next Sept. 17. ESPN.com has a (premium) story about how the Huskies program made a dramatic turnaround this season, going 9-4 and winning the MAC championship behind coach Thomas Hammock and QB Rocky Lombardi, after going 0-6 in 2020. They play Coastal Carolina Friday in the Tailgreeter Cure Bowl in Orlando (6 pm ET, ESPN2).

Two of the 4 non-conference games next year will be tough: @NIU and Wake Forest.
Elon at Vanderbilt Stadium should be a sure win.
I'd say Hawaii would be a win if it were in Nashville. Not sure about about it since it's there. But it should be a great trip for the team and any fans who go.
Can't scamper or slither...but I used to swim.
