I will miss Adam. Always thought for the most part he tried to pry as much as he could out of the VU athletic dept. He had a great relationship with Tim Corbin and gave us a glimpse into the baseball program’s struggles after Donny Everett passed away. His stories about the ineptitude of the Zeppos regime were enlightening. He knew something was going on when David Williams went radio silent towards the end of his tenure. The rape indictments and subsequent trials were difficult to keep up with but Adam tried to get all the facts he could and present them in a readable manner. Beat writers have thankless jobs. The really good ones always have someone mad at them.

He ran the "Zeppos told me to anchor down in the parking lot" thing in the ground. He harped on it.

It's not like Zeppos told him to go (NSFW insult here).

He was also very responsive when you emailed him. Gave me some insights I couldn't share a couple of times.
