... the initial impression he's going to make at SEC Media Days on Wednesday.
Get ready, you know he's going to be asked why he didn't allow numerals on jerseys in the spring (even though he's already answered that) and why the roster online at vucommodores.com has no jersey numbers listed. It's already the subject of speculation of lots of wiseacres online, and most of them have been derogatory. (See some links below.)
If he has a solid, cerebral answer for this unconventional move... as I have little doubt that he will... it will go a long way toward earning him respect for himself, the program, and Candice Storey-Lee, who hired him... the same respect he has built thus far with Commodore fans.
On the other hand, if he botches this answer, it could earn him and Vandy some negative press. The mavens of the mousepad are poised and ready to strike.
