And a second double. Is the bullpen warming up yet?

Scratch that. It's 3 straight batters with extra-base hits to start the game. 2-0 UK.

Had to throw it a foot outside to keep KY from killing it. Announcer keeps saying it was a good pitch, but they are teeing off on him so far.

Be sure to bring in Owen next. That always works well.

That was actually a very strong rebound and encouraging because I don't recall Reilly recovering from adversity like that earlier in the season. Kinda reminded of the top of the first vs Michigan in the final game in 2019.

Vandy has stranded 3 thru 2, remains 2-0 heading to 3rd.

Since the first 3 hitters, Reilly has actually pitched 3 strong innings. If Vandy can just string together a few hits, that start should not hold up for Ky.

After a Keegan infield single off the pitcher, Bulger ties it up with a line drive single whistled past the pitcher's head. KY coach visits mound.

Kolwyk delivers a 1-out sac fly to RF to give VU a 3-2 lead, but Noland out when he tagged from 1st on the high, wide throw home. Unfortunately, CJ did not tag from 2nd...whoops

LaNeve drops the ball on the exchange after a single to left sending the runner to 2nd. Sloppy. 2 outs after an F-8.

Hope that base running mistake does not come back to haunt us. We gave an out away.

Reilly gets out of it on a nice backhand 6-3 by Kolwyk. Kudos to Reilly, up to 61 pitches, for surviving that 1st inning. After last week, I wonder how much longer Corbs is willing to ride him?
