Gimme a break. It was SO close. He was only out by, oh, 20 feet or so. I think I could have thrown him out. I think they could have rolled the ball to the plate and thrown him out.

Most of us were probably thinking that. They screwed up and threw him a fastball.

Vandy takes the lead back in the 8th as Ray comes thru in a crunch with a 2 RBI hit.

AJ Franklin impressing the ACC homer announcers.

2 on and 2 outs. It's almost Tyler Brown time.

Franklin this year’s Stone? Big boost to bullpen if he can build off this performance.

Still 4-2 Vandy going to the 9th. Some insurance runs would be nice.

You think Brown would pitch, after saving 2 on Sunday? Just asking. I don't know how durable his arm is. Maybe we can get a few runs in the T9 and we won't need him.

Is the 6 visit to the mound thing just a SEC rule?

I wonder how much of this is Corbin preparing for the postseason, seeing how quickly Brown can recover and pitch effectively

AJ Franklin’s outing for us could be a significant event in the season for us. We’ve been pretty desperate to build bullpen depth. He was absolutely outstanding tonight.

Asked and answered. Hickman, Franklin & Brown combined to stymie one of the best teams in America on their home field. Very impressive win!
