Did Corbs introduce all 40 players?

Yes Corbs introduced 40 players. I think one that I remember had Tommy John surgery but in his final words, he said "That's all 40 of them" no explanation as to if he could keep all 40 or if some were going to be cut.

I enjoyed it. It's always good to see the older players show up to support the program. The whistling was annoying, but other than that it was a fun night.

Have you ever been to the pre-season banquet before? There are no awards to speak of. Corbs speaks briefly and introduces the team. They sign posters. People bid on things at the silent auction and they eat. The end.

Corbs isn't going to ever give out potential lineups or pitching rotation info. In short, I'm not sure there's ever going to be information "of value" coming out of the pre-season banquet.

... but not this one. Corbs does more than "introduce" the team. He says quite a bit about each player, probably more than one can read in the vucommodores.com bio, and I've never seen him working from notes.

I was hoping he would say, "Ethan will be our second baseman," or "Harrison is going to battle Martin, Gonzalez and Paul for the shortstop job."

But I guess I will have to wait until the opener.
