Miller is great at double dribbling! Never called…but that ball is pausing.

Any game where Lawrence takes 15 shots you will lose. Not a knock against him but he can't take 25% of the shots for the entire team

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
Honest question. Where is Dort, Dia, Smith, Lewis, etc in the 2nd half. QMB just fouled out so I guess Stack has to play Dort/Dia the rest of the game. After all our freshman are 3 deep today with 11 points, 9 rebounds in limited minutes. Shelby not hitting so it's really 2 that has those stats.

Stute can't even make a 3 after the whistle is blown and he not only is wide open but no one tries to block him.

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
Who else is going to shoot? When he is on the court with the likes of QMB, Thomas and Smith, he has to shoot because nobody else in the starting lineup can create their shot and we have no PG in the starting lineup that can create shots for their teammates. Lawrence is doing Yeoman's work tonight as he is so often placed on the court as the only real scoring option. He's not shooting well tonight but is playing his butt off.Vandy187187 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 9:16 pm Any game where Lawrence takes 15 shots you will lose. I didn't say he wasn't playing his butt off. But if your lineup/offense depends on him taking 15 shots you already lost.Jason94 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 9:28 pmWho else is going to shoot? Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
I really would love to know what happened at halftime to make Dort and Dia sit on the bench basically the entire 2nd half. Did they piss in Stack's Cheerios?
These are the things that make people transfer. "Wait your turn" ok Robbins hurt. Play well. 2nd half? Don't play. Bye bye.
With no Dort and Dia next year. Bye bye Stack.

There you go, firing the coach again. Or is that just your "wishful thinking?"

30.1% shooting; we beat ourselves.
CJS needs to explain the lack of playing time for D & D in the 2nd half.
The headband crew deserves to play!

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
Again our scoring droughts kill us. Bama is good but our missing open shots was on us not Bama defense!

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
No what I am saying is when building a program you can't lose your crown jewel youngsters. What do youngsters care about? Playing time. Dangle playing time when your 7' center is out and you need them. Then when they play well you bench them again? That's career suicide because if they leave you have NOBODY next year over 6'7"MrMemorial wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 9:41 pm There you go, firing the coach again. I'm pretty sure the coach is concerned about his "career" being in your hands.

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
Maybe the problem is he isn't concerned about his job because he is worth $70M per your post. In interviews he says he's gonna run his team as he sees fit. Well that's all well and good until the best year you had you squeezed into the NIT with Pippen who wasn't even his recruit.MrMemorial wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 9:49 pm I'm pretty sure the coach is concerned about his "career" being in your hands.

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama thread
With what we had on this team last year and this year, I'm sorry but 1 NIT is not going to cut the mustard. I'd love for MrMemorial to be my boss. I can get money for not producing, millions in fact.
