Invading the cylinder ? Wouldn't that mean that all defensive hand checks are "invading the cylinder".

'll go with Roy Williams:

Can’t secure a rebound. Way too many second chance points.

Interesting that at this point, 12 down , both teams are shooting horrible and almost identical, they just have way more shots.

A question for thought , not necessarily a comment: does Pippen hurt us by dominating the offense and allowing opponents to slack off everyone else ?

The difference in Tues. game & this one? Pippin, obviously. But if you're that dependent on 1 player, it's trouble. I'm 67, so i don't have many more decades to wait for a good team.

We do not have this level of talent - more concerning, we don't seem to have the level of basketball smarts we need.

Must have been an inspiring halftime speech.

6-14 at the FT line with 10 minutes to play in a 14 point game. Think that is a significant factor?

I swear a good athlete with his eyes closed could hit a higher FT % than QMB. Like so many big men, his trajectory is flat - needs some coaching.

38-59 or .644%. Wish we all bricked like that.
Now FT is a different question. 51.6% coming in to today.

Man. Every miscue imaginable in the second half. To their credit, they’ve had a number of blocks/stops at the rim. But can’t shoot. Knocking the ball all over the floor after seemingly securing rebounds with better position. Horrible FT%. Just not their day.

Edit: only 11 second half points approaching the under 4 timeout.
Now it’s just mental. They’re making so many errors that go beyond poor shooting. One of those games where as an athlete you start to overthink after a few mistakes and it just opens the floodgate. Definitely been there and not a pleasant feeling. Tough day for the kids. Feel bad for them.

Sadly unless things improve dramatically, just not their year.

Wright is horrible lately. What does Lawrence bring to this team? He can't shoot or score. Dezonie playing hard QMB too.
