O-line could become decent at pass blocking. The sacks seemed more like blown assignments than guys getting beat by their man.
Run blocking is... unimpressive.

Despite last year's blowout win, I never liked this matchup. For as long as I can remember, offenses that are geared to complete a high percentage of passes to the boundaries, and get the ball out of the QB's hands before the pass rush can get there, have been Vanderbilt's Kryptonite. Chang didn't get his offense installed until late last season so we didn't see it.
If he'd had this scheme installed last year, we probably lose the game.

WRs are good as the hype or maybe better.

Swann looked like he needed to shake off rust. The flashes he showed last year were impressive for his mental sharpness. This seemed totally lacking last night. Maybe he can clean out the cobwebs. A nightmare scenario would be that his sharpness has been concussed away (this can be a thing).

The CBs look bad. The younger ones are athletically gifted but none of them look well coached.

How many more air raid / run-shoot offenses do we face this year? If there are any coming up with better athletes, we will get crushed.
