Re: Vanderbilt-Hawaii game thread
And the SEC Network apparently has no pregame show. It's Marty and Magee interviewing QB's at media days.
And this is from the Weather Channel for Franklin - better than 50% chance of thunderstorms through 9 PM

Don, you know better than i, but i thought roofs were incredibly expensive. Retractable roofs even higher.

Moving the schedule ever earlier makes season tix unviable. The chances of any of the first four games being ungodly hot or delayed is high.

Crazy as it is, I think this is a good thing. It will bring the temperature down... good for the players, good for fans. Some people were wishing it could start later anyway, as some high school games did this week. Hopefully nobody had anything important to do tomorrow(!).

Also levels the playing field. Hawaii hasn't been practicing in this heat. We have.BrentVU wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:18 pm Crazy as it is, I think this is a good thing. Re: Vanderbilt-Hawaii game thread
What worries me more is that Vanderbilt's offense had two of its worst performances in rainy weather last year (Wake and UT).commadore wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:29 pmAlso levels the playing field.
