2023 Predict the Season Contest

Gents,

So the preseason mags are out & Media Days is soon (I think).

Thought it was a good time to look at what ppl here are thinking of the upcoming season (I’m still reelibg from the idea that we will be facing last year’s best RB & QB(?)but such is NCAA sports in the 20s I guess).


So here is the CONTEST:
1. (A)How many SEC games will be win?
(B) Bonus- name our Victim(s)

2. How many nonconference games will we LOSE?
(B) BONUS- list nonconference LOSS(ES).

Not in the contest but I think we will be hard-pressed to win no more than 5 games. We always lose at least one non-conference game and sneak up on two conference games. If we win two I think KY & Mizzu likely candidates depending on how we play in the non-conference. We always have a tough game with Wake.

I'll go slightly optimistic because I like Coach Lea's approach.

I'll say we win 3 conference games and manage to sweep the non-con's. So 7-5 baby!!

1B - Kentucky, Mizzou and Auburn

2A - 0 (a rare sweep)
2B - n/a

Bonus: UK, Missouri, Auburn, Florida
I know I am being overly optimistic, but I believe we take a bigger leap this year.

2. How many nonconference games will we LOSE? 1 non-conference loss
BONUS: Wake Forest
