OT: Waring Blenders still exist and are pretty much only for commercial use by restaurants and are priced accordingly.
My favorite old game show prize from the 1970's?
Tell them what they won Jay Stewart!!
A year supply of Turtle Wax...and... Rice-a-Roni, the San Francisco treat!!
**How much is a year supply of car wax anyway? Like one bottle?

Re: Poor, poor tennessee
Okay, I'll weigh in, by repeating UT pitcher Camden Sewell:
"We fell short. But if you want to end your season, this is the place you want to end it."
If he deigned to think about it at all, he might have added: "Not in some regional game, against Xavier!"

Can't scamper or slither...but I used to swim.

I am always glad to see UT lose, but I don't feel like gloating too much about it when we got eliminated in the Regionals.

Sometimes you have to pick your poison.
We won the SEC tournament. They got shut out on a 2-hitter in their one first day game.

I have to admit really liking the way Van Halen covered "You're No Good."\OldDude wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:19 pmMan, you guys are reminding me how old I am.
