Commitment: Jaren Sensabaugh 6-0 170 DB/WR/ATH Nashville-Ensworth
Another one of those guys who showed up at the midweek prospect camp last week, earned an offer! Accepted it six days later! Played his junior season at Knoxville Catholic, is transferring to Ensworth for his senior season.
Commitment list grows to 11.

Sensabaugh suffered a broken collar bone during his junior season at Knox Catholic, and that has evidently kept his recruitment under the radar a bit.
He is the guy who said that when Clark Lea called to offer him, Clark's son "C III" was on the call also. Give it up for C III! Maybe Clark Jr. needs to make this a habit.

Also, Jaren is the son of former Dallas Cowboy and Jacksonville Jaguar DB Gerald Sensabaugh.
I am told that Jaren and his dad were both acquaintances of Notre Dame transfer Prince Kollie, also from East Tennessee, and Kollie showed them both around the campus in conjunction with his camp visit. Give Kollie an assist for this commitment.

Kind of fun to see him playing against Witt Muschamp's Baylor squad!

Re: Commitment: Jaren Sensabaugh 6-0 170 DB/WR/ATH Nashville-Ensworth
Yes, definitely a developing trend here... five of Vandy's 11 commitments are from the private school leagues of Tennessee, and four of those (I'm counting Sensabaugh) are from East Tennessee. A lot of these guys know each other and have played against each other.
Lea's staff still needs to do a better job with some of these local private school prospects, if you ask me, as a lot of the best Middle Tennessee private school prospects are still getting away. But this year's class shows they are at least making some inroads with private school prospects within the state, and two are even from UT's backyard.

One last thing... we should all hope that Sensabaugh can convince his Ensworth teammate, 4-star 2025 DL Ethan Utley, that Vanderbilt is a great place to be!
Honestly, you would think that with Roc Batten as coach at Ensworth, Vandy would be doing better at landing the top players from that school, but I think Sensabaugh is the first one. (And Sensabaugh hasn't even taken a class or played a game at Ensworth yet.)
