We were facing a guy throwing 100.

We scratched our ace - who happened to be a leftie (which is Florida’s issue)

and we, wisely, did not move up our other two pitchers and get them off schedule.

We fell behind early. You can’t really, under these circumstances, expect coach to burn arms that will matter tomorrow

These run rule loses lead me to think we’ll have a tough time stringing together enough wins to get out of the four team phase of the NCAA tournament where we’ll need three wins to move on. Hope I’m wrong but while we may (still?) lead the league in batting average we seem to have large holes in when we get those hits.
