I give up.MikeADore wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 1:54 pm I won't go over all the details, but some of you will no doubt remember how excited I got over this young lady from Knoxville Farragut when Vandy was in contact with her last spring. Here is the thread for anyone interested:

She had a good freshman year at Pitt, but the coach was fired a few weeks ago. Strickland is the eighth player from the program to enter the portal since then. She played in all 30 games and started 11 of those. I watched them play a few times and actually thought she could have been played more. She averaged 20 minutes a game, but that time increased as she improved during ACC play.
Not sure if Vandy will be interested. She says she will also still consider Pitt, so this could be a "just in case" move if things don't go well with the new coach.

Re: The Portal
One of the top players in the country, a rising junior. You may remember her from a couple years ago when she lit Vandy up at the holiday tournament game against Depaul. Averages more than 25 points and 12 rebounds. The fact that she needs to do a countdown production about which school she is going to transfer to tells you a lot about her ego. Sounds like a Mulkey girl to me.

Re: The Portal
McKenzie Forbes, a 6'0 guard from Harvard and one of the better Ivy League senior transfers, has committed to USC. Seems like something is going on out there including making Aneesah Morrow's top three. I get a feeling there is some serious money changing hands.

Re: The Portal
Once again, Southern Cal. Padilla is probably the most highly sought after of the Ivy League grads. She's a California girl, so I guess it's not so surprising she'd want to get back closer to home after getting her degree from Penn.

Re: The Portal
Morrow visited USC last weekend, then visited LSU, but word today is that she cancelled her visit to South Carolina. She continues to treat her transfer as a reality TV show and announced on twitter that she will reveal her decision today. I sorta hope she goes to LSU and she, Hailey Van Lith and Angel Reese wind up in a three-way royal rumble to see who gets more attention and money. I have news for them...their coach will rush the ring at the last second and win the prize.MikeADore wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:04 am One of the top players in the country, a rising junior. Re: The Portal
Coulibaly commits to Texas A&M. Joni Taylor has racked up four starter-level players in the portal and three top-100 recruits this off season. Looking like a near-certain top five team in the SEC standings.MikeADore wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 12:16 pmNow Auburn's best player, Aicha Coulibaly, has joined the mass exodus. Weird stuff.MikeADore wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 10:32 pm Lots of players fleeing Auburn again this year. Can't figure what that's about. Johnnie Harris is doing a good job and seems like good people. In the portal:
* Jakayla Johnson, 5’9 junior guard
* Romi Levy, 6’3 junior forward
* Mya Pratcher, 6’1 freshman wing
* Kharyssa Richardson, 6’2 freshman forward
* Sania Wells, 5’7 senior guard
