Well, that just sucked. Holton just doesn't have it right now. Not a good sign for the rest of the season.

Since he was out that one Friday, he has had ONE good start.

He needs to stop hitting guys with 2 strikes. There is playing the edges and just giving away gifts.

Also he was victimized by pretty lousy fielding both innings.

My main problem is he keeps falling over. Mechanics-wise, that is not encouraging.

We are knocking the cover off the ball - but right at people. A pretty discouraging start.

His defense certainly let him down, but he did not look sharp at all. You're right, Roanoke, his mechanics just look off, have in his last 2-3 starts. Brownie needs to earn his pay and identify and correct those problems. We need "Good" Reilly to have a big 4-5 innings and not let Bama score anymore. So far so good. Long way to go.

I think we have played to many games on artificial turf and the ball just doesn’t have the same bounce
