Re: JJ Bleday
No, the owner of the A's, John Fisher (son of the founder of The Gap), has spent very little on players and forced management to trade off the good ones. The A's attendance is the lowest in the majors, by far (less than 2,600 on Tuesday), because of the poor team and the crumbling stadium. Fisher has wanted to move out of Oakland for years. The Raiders once shared the stadium with the A's and wanted to redevelop the site over 10 years ago. Fisher was the obstacle, so the Raiders moved to Vegas, bitter at Fisher's refusal to cooperate or to spend money. BTW, Tony Kemp also plays for the A's.MrMemorial wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 10:22 pmThe A's are 6-24? Yikes! Did Billy Beane hire Bryce Drew to manage that team?
